If you have not been to the Christmas Tree Lighting in Jekyll Island, Georgia's Historic District, don't miss this year's event.
On Saturday, November 24, 2012 starting at 4 pm, there are activities and events for everyone in the family - face painting, carriage rides, candle making, Christmas card decorating as well as a visit from Santa Claus. Enjoy live music, good food and so much more.
The tree lighting and fireworks begin around 6 pm. Don't miss this annual event located in the historic district on Jekyll Island.

Public Beach access is available on both Saint Simons Island and Jekyll Island where you can sun, splash in the waves, build a sandcastle, ride horses, use body boards or fly kites.
