places to go and things to do brunswick ga: Summer Waves on Jekyll Island is Open
- 05/30/13 09:53 PM
The Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool offers up waves all day long. Enjoy the Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool, the length of a football field. Take a slow ride around the Summer Waves on The Turtle River. This 1/2 mile river allows you to view the park on a float at the slow pace of 3 miles per hour.....a great start or end to a day. Towering 5 stories above above The Turtle River is The Pirates Passage Inner Tube Ride. The Splash Zone is a great place to cool off with thousands of gallons of water pouring on you

places to go and things to do brunswick ga: Cumberland Island Georgia.......National Sea Shore
- 07/22/12 01:28 AM
Cumberland Island is an amazing National Sea Shore managed by the National Park Service. An island larger than the size of Manhattan Island allowing a maximum of 300 visitors per day keeps it beautifully pristine. There was so much to do on Cumberland Island is just a day trip that I couldn't cover everything in the one post, so see my Cumberland Island, Georgia Part I - about Cumberland feral horses. Below is a photo taken from the ferry as we traveled to Cumberland from Saint Mary's, Georgia. The view as you are arriving to the island from the ferry
