I have posted and read posts from other agents about returning phone calls. Here is my latest. I faxed an offer yesterday afternoon. I called the listing agent twice on her cell phone. This number didn't take voice messages. Twice I entered my number. I called her brokers office and left a voice mail. Today I called once again and left a voice message. Finally sold my listing in Eden Isles LA today after a nine month listing. Perserverence finally paid off I guess. The buyers agent is a big producer in Slidell. I was talking to him about his listings. He told me he had 83 listings. How in the world does one give good service to this many clients. I know I can't. How about you guys? I now know what I want to be when I grow up. A politician. They consider themselves an expert on everything. They get great retirement and health care. they even get great perks, whether legal or not. I read Eric Bouler blog today about the two senators and other big wigs with SWEET deals from Countrywide. I hope everyone is having a safe and lovely Memorial Day weekend. I am spending ,time in Lafayette Louisiana. Since my daughter is off to college this Fall, this will be the last one for us. Been doing this about seven years now. I think we will miss it at first. Then we will enjoy the free time. The highest gas I have seen was $3.91, and the lowest was $3.70. Monday night was graduation for my daughter. My wife and I are very proud of her. She graduated salutatorin (2out of 196). I think I was in the bottom two, so we have something in common. I wish I could predict things or maybe forecast is a better word to use. January and February were very busy and productive for me.
