It is finally here! 10 months ahead of scheduled, but long anticipated!! The Timber Drive extension is open! The four lane divided highway is 1.4 miles long and connects NC 50 and White Oak Road. The extension will open up traffic around Garner as the town continues to experience growth. It’s time for the Happy Holly-days Celebration! On Friday, Dec 9th from 6-8pm the Christmas activities will be occurring at Holly Springs Town Hall and Holly Springs Cultural Center. On this coming Tuesday; Election Day; the citizens of Holly Springs have a very important decision to make! They have to decide whether or not to approve a $20 Million Bond.
The citizens will not be choosing exactly which parks and recreation project is approved but rather that they are giving the town their permission to take on the additional debt that is dedicated to improving parks and recreation areas for the town.

I am sure that you all know about the $8000 tax credit for First Time Home Buyers and those who have not owned a home in the past 3 years. Well, time is almost up to take the government up on this offer! You must have the home that you are buying Under Contract by April 30th and Close on it prior to July 1st. This deadline also applies to the $6,500 Home Buyers Credit. Often when I talk about this credit to my clients they have not heard about it or do not understand it completely. We are so lucky to live in such a special place like Fuquay Varina! The town's Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization Association is always busy planning activities for our community. Tomorrow evening is a great example of that. We will be having the "Downtown Cruise-In"and it will be a lot of fun for the whole family. There will be 50's & 60's music and some beach music too!
