We have some great news here in the Rocket City! Madison County remains in the lowest county unemployment rates in the state of Alabama. For the month of June, Madison County had a 3.9% unemployment rate which is lower than the national rate of 5.5%. It is also below the state rate of 4.7% for the month of June.
