The numbers are in, skier visits were up 7% for 2013/2014 ski season. Season passes accounted for about 1/2 of these visits. It was a tremendous year for snow and the increase of visitors was evident in the parking lots but not on the slopes. So much terrain and so many chairs, skiers and boarders can spread out and sometimes be skiing alone. Starbucks has broken ground on their new store on the corner of the Kalispell Center Mall parking lot. Another choice for coffee downtown and best of all, a drive through.
