Bigfork Montana is located only minutes from Kalispell, MT. Both areas are near Flathead River, Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. Both areas provide multiple options for fishing, hiking, skiing, boating and other outdoor activities. So what's different in Bigfork?
First, it's a much smaller town. The population is around 4,300 compared to over 23,000 in Kalispell. You can bet with a smaller population, most people know each other! Being smaller also means there are fewer of everything. For example, there is one large grocery store as opposed to five in Kalispell.
