Hi Everyone, On September 29th, 2011, the House passed a short-term funding bill that will prevent a federal government shutdown and lapse of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), both of which were slated for September 30. The House was able to pass this bill via unanimous consent, which did not require all members to be present.
