Master Gardeners will be available at the Aiken County Farmers Market, the first Saturday of each month from April - October, to answer lawn and garden questions, identify plants, weeds, and any other mystery items that the public brings! This is a free service :)

Our tree is located in the center of Downtown Aiken, at the intersection of Richland Ave and Laurens Street - it sits atop the fountain! Aiken SC is unlike any other place I have ever lived - we have Hitchcock Woods, over 2100 acres in the center of town (it's 3 times the size of NY's Central Park, y'all!!) - Aiken Hounds hold fox hunts in the 'woods', we have an annual horse show in the 'woods'. and most importantly, the annual Blessing of the Hounds on Thanksgiving morning, which is the opening of the Aiken Hounds foxhunt season. -- the Blessing has been an annual event for 101 years...yes, 101 years!!
