One of my friends on G+, Annie Maloney, posted this Realty Times article, about why some agents fail and others do not "in today's economy." The main point the author of the article made was that agents who fail, do so because they are in the grip of fear. I respectfully disagree. Some failure I attribute to lack of training. Some agents simply have no clue because their brokers do not train them. Yet, if they really wanted to succeed...they would get training. My first broker did not train me. I joined ActiveRain several years ago, in late March 2007. At first I didn't know what I was going to do with ActiveRain, but eventually I realized that joining ActiveRain could easily be the greatest thing of my career. Every once in a while I come across a new real estate blogger (or even a more seasoned blogger) who alludes to the fact that they don't get many comments on their blogs. It can be discouraging, especially when you see some of the ActiveRain.com "rock stars" with dozens and dozens of comments on their blogs. You feel like you have just a tiny squeaky voice, that is never going to be heard by the masses... If you are trying to attract CONSUMERS, you need to STOP THINKING LIKE THAT!
