Living in Lake Ridge offers a way of life not possible in many newer subdivisions. The original terrain was gently rolling, heavily wooded hills. 1,200 acres of the original 4,400 acres were left untouched.
The detached home sites range from 1/4 to 1/2 acre with many of the original trees still standing. Most of the town home and condominium sites are surrounded by wooded areas. The net result is we live in a community of both human beings and animals.
