century florida: Will I always be a "yankee" living in Florida?

Even after living in Florida for almost 4 years, I sill get called a "Yankee" when ever anyone finds out where I am from. Okay, I admit it, I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but that should not be held against me as that was totally not my choice, but ,my parents. How about all my summers and most holidays (and that is bunches) were spent in Aiken, SOUTH Carolina...does that not count for even a little bit? And how about when I had my choice to live ANYWHERE (after my divorce) I CHOSE to move down south?? To Florida … (5 comments)
