WOW, I lost 3 friends last year...These were friends from Gettysburg, PA where my son David Monsour is a REALTOR. It's amazing...life is so short. It seems like it was just last year when I helped "Bear" can his tomatoes. It seems like a few years ago, I was eating wings at "Herricanes" with Mike Abraham and his family... It seems like just a few years ago, I was sitting and talking to Tom Henninger. My three friends passed away this year. Honesty is described by Webster's dictionary as: 1 truthful: trustworthy 2)a sincere or fair (honest effort) b. gained by fair mean's 3 frank and open. When is it time for me? I raised my children, they are successful and out of college. I am bored now b/c they no longer come over for dinner. They no longer come over to eat after soccer practice, baseball practice...I no longer see my friend's children...they've graduated from college...It was so much fun...I loved it! Fast forward...after my last child went to college I moved from PA to FL...I love it...while they were in college I saw them often. Yes! I said it... There are some great buy's right now for those people fortunate to have some cash in the bank, then again, they are the one's who know how to handle money, that is why they have cash in hand. Then there are the bad...they want something for free, without cash on hand, with barely an Escrow deposit. Then the are the ugly...those investor's who want to buy your property at 40 or 50 cents on the dollar. About 3 years ago, it was Christmas eve. I couldn't go home for the Holidays, so my other friends that were stuck here in Florida b/c of work and I went out on the town. Everyone was dancing and having a great time as I was as as well ( having a good time ), when we walked into one specific night club and I met some new people. Another interesting thought! I love people, I love to help people, and it's not ever a bother for me to help someone in need. I love the life I have lived so far, there were up's and down's, there were crises that I have overcome. Life is a challenge. Realistically, it is a game of chance. If you are a Christian...you believe that there is a G*d and he has a plan for all of us... If you are of a different religion...I am not sure, but I would like to know how your religion plays into your lifestyle. We are here today. We have enjoyed our families over the Holiday Season. We hope everyone is healthy, wealthy and wise. We hope there are no secrets. As the Holidays are near, we need to take advantage of the Holiday's to appreciate our families and friends. It is so easy not to appreciate the advice of family members, the advice of friends (whatever the issue)... Thanksgiving is upon us. Many of us cannot believe it is next Thursday. Often times, time just slips by...
