Science Saturdays at the LBIF: For the 11th consecutive winter, the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences will host a series of interactive, hands-on presentations open to the public. Science Saturdays are held weekly 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 14 through April 29 at the LBIF, 120 Long Beach Blvd., Loveladies. Each session presents a scientific, environmental or sustainability issue that affects the shore community and the Barnegat Bay. A light breakfast will be provided by A Little Bite of Italy in Surf City. Foundation members are free. Nonmembers are asked for a $5 donation.
