The John C. Campbell Folk School located at 1 Folk School Road Brasstown, NC 28902 is a unique destination in the mountains of Western North Carolina. While the school has lots and lots of things to offer year round, I wanted to highlight some special events coming up in 2019.
FRIENDS & FAMILY DAY Saturday, May 11, 2019 10AM-4PM Join the John C. Campbell Folk School for a fun day in their studios! Participate hands-on crafts, music and dance activities. Tour the campus and learn more about the Folk School's programs. All ages are welcome and admission is free.

The mountains of North Georgia and Western North Carolina are looking to experience a hard freeze this weekend (December 8th - 10th, 2016). Make sure that your home is prepared! We will have temps below freezing with daily highs in the 30s - 40s. It is strongly recommended that you let your faucets drip and keep the heat set to at least 50 degrees during this time. If you are away from you mountain home, please contact me so that I can put you in touch with businesses who can check your home and keep your pipes from freezing. Stay warm!
