Heaps Peak Arboretum Rim of the World Interpretive Association The Arboretum is located in the San Bernardino National Forest and features a animal - footprint trail, scenic nature trail and is free to the public. The U.S. Forest Service does require an Adventure Pass be displayed on all vehicles using the parking lot, the cost for this is $5 or you can purchase an annual pass for $30. Your Lake Arrowhead Realtor would like to share some local Lake Arrowhead Information with you Today, September 11, 2010, here in the San Bernardino Mountains, our HEAPS PEAK ARBORETUM is having a NATIVE PLANT SALE. 9:00 AM. Don't just stop to buy plants, though..."take a hike" on the Sequoia Trail, gentle & less than a mile and it's accessible to the physically challenged. Since the "steps" have been removed it is easier for all visitors to walk, especially families with young children in strollers and the elderly. MAP & DIRECTIONS
