I know it's Wordless Wednesday and this photo speaks all for itself, but how amazing that we can live in such beautiful places and sometimes take it for granted. With so much going on in the world from COVID to Politics we seem to be noticing less and less the beauty around us and all that we truly have to be thankful for. It's no wonder we often see the light at the end of the tunnel as the train coming to get us.

When hanging out in Prescott, Arizona I stumbled across this tree that I now know as a Ponderosa Pine. I've been told that Prescott has more of these trees than anywhere else in the USA. I love nature and love the maturity of this tree. After some research I have found out that the Ponderosa Pine has several distinct scents that no one ever really seems to agree on. Some people will smell butterscotch or vanilla and another person can smell coconut or cinnamon. Scientists don't know why a closely sniffed Ponderosa smells like baking cookies, but nevertheless it does. Some … (0 comments)
