sellers: WHY SELLERS NEED A REALTOR® in PRESCOTT AZ - 06/16/21 10:41 AM
So far, 2021 is the year of the sale. It's a "seller's market." You know homes are selling faster than ever, with listings in short supply around the country, including right here in Prescott, AZ.  The equation is simple: low inventory + motivated buyers = record home prices. If you’ve been thinking about putting your home up for sale, now is the time to do it.
OK, you’re convinced. You’ll put your home on the market. But please, don’t do it alone.

In its 2020 Quick Real Estate Statistics Overview, the National Association of REALTOR® reported almost 89% of sellers were assisted … (2 comments)

sellers: Agents; Return Calls or Put A Lockbox On Your Listings/s! - 05/09/14 01:11 AM
AGENTS; RETURN CALLS or PUT A LOCKBOX ON YOUR LISTING/S!
I'm mad as a wet hen! Yep, that's right, as a wet hen.  Can you imagine how mad a hen gets when she's wet?  That's me.
My complaint, which I've written about before, is about REALTORS/Agents who do NOT answer their phones, or call back other fellow REALTORS/Agent. I don't get it!!!
When you take a listing, you are promising your seller/s that you will do everything you can, legally and ethically, to get their home shown and SOLD.  Well, if it doesn't get shown, the likely-hood of it being SOLD is … (0 comments)

sellers: INFORMATION about NAR's HouseLogic ~ Incase Your Didn't Know - 03/14/10 03:09 AM
National Association of Realtors  has a new consumer website called HouseLogic. The site will provide property owners with free information, tools and tips to help them with home improvements, maintenance projects, taxes, finances & insurance & more.
How it will help Realtors?
•  HouseLogic has a free source of ready-to-use content, through its REALTOR® Content Resource(RCR). The RCR has material for your Web sites, blogs, and newsletters. You can easily insert this content which will help communication with your clients long after the sale.
• Help Your Business move forward: Use the HouseLogic information to maintain (and grow) your consumer relationships by sharing information relevant to current or … (5 comments)

sellers: THE IMPORTANCE OF AN OPEN Multiple Listing Service (MLS) BOARD - 07/25/09 04:15 AM
THE IMPORTANCE OF AN OPEN Multiple Listing Service (MLS) BOARD
(This is NOT members only...consumers chime in)
DO YOU LIKE THIS SIGN? Is it FREINDLY?
Sellers: DO YOU KNOW WHAT A CLOSED MLS DOES FOR YOUR LISTING? Here's my two cents.
When you list your home with your trusted Realtor/Broker, you sign a contract that basically says the Broker will do their best to sell your home, which includes getting it out on the market: Google, Trulia, Postets, Craiglist, and of course their company website. It also means that they will be putting it on the MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE (MLS).
We live in … (15 comments)

sellers: BUYERS/SELLERS: ARE YOU TURNED "OFF or ON" by BOASTING & BRAGGING Realtors/Brokers? ~ Let US Know! - 04/10/09 11:27 AM
I've often wondered what exactly makes a buyer or seller choose a particular person or company when they're searching for someone to represent them in the sell or purchase of a home.  I'm hoping, with this post, to get responses from consumers, as well as Realtors/Brokers. INQUIRY MINDS WANT TO KNOW. (This will NOT be a Member's Only post).
ALL Consumers: How do you feel when you read an ADVERTISEMENT (be it on-line, magazine or newspaper) from a Realtor/Broker who is rattling on and on about HOW WONDERFUL THEY ARE? HOW THEY ARE THE BEST COMPANY AROUND? HOW THEY LIST AND SELL MORE THAN ANY … (52 comments)

sellers: SELLERS, DON'T BLOW OFF THAT LOW BALL OFFER. Instead...LET IT SIMMER BEFORE REACTING - 09/30/08 04:25 AM
Dear Seller:
We (Realtors) know how frustrating it is when you get a LOW BALL offer on your home. After all, it's a wonderful home. You've raised your kids here. You KNOW it's priced right. AND you can't afford to take less; you have your blood, sweat and tears in this place.  SO, when you get one of those nasty, ridiculous offers, your first instinct is to be  ^*#@%& off....justifiably so.
"Tell that Realtor to tell his client ...blah, blah, blah with his offer..." You may blurt out.
Instead, you need to take a deep breath. Take a walk. Take a chill-pill. More importantly, you … (16 comments)
