- 12/08/13 11:46 AM
Cobb County Association of Realtor Installation Luncheon was held on Wednesday December 4, 2013 at the Old Towne Country Club in Marietta, GA. It was a great celebration of all of the accomplishments from the last year. Wendy Bunch of Re/Max Pure did an outstanding job for the Association this past year. It was wonderful to see the partnership between Wendy and Courtney Newton the 2014 President. I am looking forward to next year. 2014 is going to be great!

- 11/20/13 09:28 AM
It was reported earlier this month that the Atlanta Braves would be building a new stadium in Cobb County with the expectation for the start of the 2017 season. The announcement has created a great deal of controversy and conversation. This morning I attended the Cobb Association of Realtor Membership Meeting at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting we heard from the Director of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce regarding the plans for the stadium and the impact it will have on the traffic (always a big concern in Atlanta) and most importantly the financing structure from the (6 comments)

cobb association of realtors: When you're lucky, you're lucky!
- 04/19/13 09:32 AM
When you're lucky, you're lucky! This must be my week. I attended the Women's Council of Realtor (Cobb County) luncheon on Wednesday of this week. It was a great presentation by many of the local builders discussing what 2013 would bring in the new homes market. As with most of these type of events, there was a drawing for a door prize, mostly gift cards. You know how that goes. Well, the last prize was for a $200 gift card to Nordstroms donated by Traton Homes. After the prize was announced I turned to the agent next to me and said, (6 comments)
cobb association of realtors: Cobb Association of Realtor Multi-Million Dollar Gala
- 03/21/13 01:16 PM
Tonight was the Cobb Association of Realtor Multi-Million Dollar Gala at the Marietta Conference Center. The event honors those Realtors that have achieved a level of success as a team member or an individual basis. It was nice to meet and greet new and old friends and congratulate those individuals that excelled last year in the real estate business.
By the attendance tonight, I would say the real estate market in Cobb County is headed in the right direction. There wasn't an empty table in the room!
Prospect Mortgage was proud to be a Gold Sponsor for the event.
