The real estate market in Westlake Village, CA is definately "cooling off" now that Autumn is here. Homes were literally flying off the shelves in May, June and July. It has now slowed down and although closing prices are up, indications point to the fact that the higher bracket is finally moving after many price cuts and some stagnation. Inventory is still low, however, which urges newer sellers to hold fast, but without buyers chomping at the bit for the newer listings priced at or above market value, activity has slowed and fewer homes are closing. I have this cute little mobile home listed in Thousand Oaks. We just dropped the price $5000, and it's now just $89,900! The neighborhood is quiet. It's centrally located close to shopping and a park. The interior has been updated with new kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The Ranch Mobile Home Park is for owner-occupants aged 55 and over. One titled owner MUST be at least 55, and other occupants must be at least 50. The homes cannot be rented out, they must be occupied by an owner.
