conejo valley real estate: Agoura HIlls, CA real estate market statistics for Oct 1, 2014 - 10/01/14 11:11 AM
Homes for sale in Agoura Hills, CA are still in good supply and prices are holding this week. As we approach Autumn, it is expected the homes currently on the market for some time will adjust their price slightly to hit the "sweet spot" needed to enter into escrow. Buyers who have been willing to wait for the right home are now pulling the trigger! There are currently 83 active listings. 14 homes entered into escrow this week, and with just 6 newly listed homes hitting the MLS, the attrition rate may drive prices slightly higher.

conejo valley real estate: The Cone of Shame! - 03/30/14 02:29 PM
I've never understood why when a dog has to wear a cone, they call it the "Cone of Shame". Poor puppies! They don't know that licking and nibbling on their sore paws will result in even more soreness! To them, it relieves the pain! So here are some alternatives:
1. There is the fabric cone which is much more comfortable than the old fashioned rigid plastic one. Problem is, Maggie Smiley proceeded to bend the fabric easily to lick and nibble on her paw (see how red and sore her poor paw is!).
2. Booties come in all sizes and have … (8 comments)

conejo valley real estate: Now you see it - Now you don't! Graphic design liberties help sell! - 03/29/14 01:49 AM
What to do about cars in the driveway or power lines in the photo? Your handy-dandy graphic designer (or you if you are talented!) can virtally erase cars, lines, light poles, etc from your photo before you spend the big bucks on flyers and postcards!
The owner of this home collected old sports cars. Some of them did not run, like the one in the driveway! He had it towed to his new home after we closed escrow, but in the meantime we worked some magic with "erasing" it for the flyers and postcards!
If you are looking … (6 comments)

conejo valley real estate: Sunday Dreaming - No more cords! - 03/24/14 06:19 AM

Thanks to Debb James of The Carl Group, Cames, WA for posting this encouraging news about the future of wireless homes!
This is very exciting - a world with NO MORE POWER CORDS, tangling, mangling, twisting and choking each other! Who doesn't have this mess under their computer desk? In our Conejo Valley California market, we have a lot of 1960's homes with exterior power lines. Maybe they will be a thing of the past soon!
Watch this video that Debb posted and it will give you hope for a better tomorrow!
