What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon in sunny Westlake Village, California. Yesterday was the Westlake Village Garden Club show, and touring the gardens of some very special homes here in the Conejo Valley of Southern California was a great way to spend the day! I've never understood why when a dog has to wear a cone, they call it the "Cone of Shame". Poor puppies! They don't know that licking and nibbling on their sore paws will result in even more soreness! To them, it relieves the pain! So here are some alternatives: 1. There is the fabric cone which is much more comfortable than the old fashioned rigid plastic one.
