colorado real estate: FSBO's -- two completely different experiences - 04/02/08 11:15 AM
I've been making a concerted effort to contact some FSBO's that I think some of my buyers may be interested in.   I thought if I could get a relationship with them, I would possibly have a chance to eventually become their listing agent.   Also, I have several clients that have very specific neighborhoods they want, so I've got my eye out for FSBO's in their preferred neighborhoods.

I recently took some accreditation classes in another state.  Besides getting my ABR certification, it was eye-opening for me to understand how much the laws vary from state to state.   A portion of my business is from interent leads and from people moving into the state from other parts of the country.   Because of what I learned in some of the classes I took, I think I can now communicate better with my clients moving here.   Hopefully this knowledge will be helpful to other Realtors in the State.
