Inspections – to stay or not to say
Yesterday I had a buyer conduct an inspection on an occupied house that he is under contract on.   The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, in the central part of Colorado Springs.
My business practice is that I meet the buyer and the inspector at the house and unlock the house for them.   I often times leave for a little bit to get some other work done while the inspection is going on and then come back.   From a risk management viewpoint, I've always been taught not to stick around … (60 comments)

I wanted to share a recent photo I took.   I was taking a walk the other day; and it was so gorgeous, I just had to share it.   I live in in the foothills, part way in between Colorado Springs and Denver.   This photo reminds me why I'm fortunate to live in such a breathtaking area.  I remind myself that I never want to take our amazing scenery for granted; it's a privilege to live here.  I feel blessed!

Do you have a home office mascot?
As a Colorado Springs Realtor, there are many advantages to working at a home office.
I'm very blessed to live in the gorgeous state of Colorado and I live in the foothills close to Colorado Springs and Denver.  I can watch the deer, squirrels, birds, and the occasional bear from my office windows.
I also have my home office mascots, Gracie and Pico that help me work and make me smile.

As an example, if the bank orders the appraisal they actually own it.

Warning ............. this is a little bit of a rant.   Yesterday, I was showing 8 properties to a very qualified buyer I'm working with.  One property she wanted to see took me calling three different times to get an answer if it was available to show.

I came across the Heat Maps on Trulia for El Paso County in Colorado.   Since I'm a an extremely visual person, I think it's a great tool.  
I deal with a lot of internet buyers moving into the area, so the more data and information I can give them about how pricing varies in the city, makes their search easier.   I do statistics by zip code, but sometimes a picture can say much more.
