short sales: Palm Coast & Flagler County Real Estate Outlook For 2010 - 01/16/10 11:55 PM
I am often asked what I think will happen over the next year in Real Estate in the area.  We all wish we had a crystal ball to see into the future.  This is especially true in the Real Estate word over the last few years.  The only thing we can do is look at the data, activities, and trends to get a perspective on the upcoming year.  My outlook based upon these areas is very positive for the area when it comes to residential home sales.  Let's take a look:

short sales: Presentation & Short Sales: Why Sellers Are Missing Out With Short Sales - 07/14/09 05:12 AM
It's no secret that many owners today find themselves in situations of having to sell their home as a "short sale".  It's not an easy time for these owner.  They are having difficulty making the payments, other life situations are probably adding to the stress (i.e. loss of a job, divorce, etc.), and the property has become more of a burden than a "pride and joy" in their lives.  But these owners actually have a significant competitive advantage over regular property listings  . . . buyer attention.  Why?  Buyers look for "deals".  Short sales have a buyer expectation of "deal" associated … (0 comments)

short sales: Get Educated in Short Sales! - 06/17/07 04:38 AM
Lately we have heard alot about 'short sales', and it is urgent for all professionals to understand how this works in our industry.  With the recent drops in prices compared to what owners owe and the onslaught of foreclosures, this is a topic with a lot of urgency in the industry.  I highly recommend reading the following article put out by NAR:

What I am finding as I come across this is that the owners have a very vague understanding and are not getting the greatest direction as far as the consequences and the impact on the sales process as a whole.  They … (8 comments)
