As you come out of the Hilton Hawaiian Village on to Ala Moana Blvd., you've got The Ilikai to the left with a restaurant on the top, (which used to be Sarrento's). Then you've got Pomaikai, which is the blue building. At the top, behind there, you have Discovery Bay. It was made famous in the original intro of Hawaii Five-O. The Waikiki Landmark is a highrise condominium in Honolulu, Hawaii that has been an architectural spectical for nearly 20 years now. The building can be seen from miles away.
Over the course of the last real estate cycle, values have increased as the fee simple interest became available to homeowners. The penthouses at the top are something else... They used to have great views of the ocean, however once the Allure Waikiki was built across the street, some of those views are now obstructed. Dr. Beach came out with his annual Top 10 Beach List and Oahu was the only Hawaiian island to make the list at the #3 and #9 spots. Duke Kahanamoku Beach took the #3 spot Duke Kahanamoku Beach fronts the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. The boundaries are the pier on the east side and the Ala Wai Boat Harbor on the west.
