Samarkand, the Land of Heart's Desire, is one of the most highly-sought neighborhoods in Santa Barbara, California. My area of specialty in Santa Barbara is the Samarkand Neighborhood, rich in history and a wonderful place to live. Samarkand means "Land of Heart's Desire" in Persian and we are lucky to have The Samarkand of Santa Barbara as part of our diverse neighborhood.
