As I posted in a blog last weekend it is a good time to get a mortgage.  Interest rates are at historical lows and houses are sitting on the market with anxious sellers.  How long will this situation last?

home buying: Interest Rates and what they mean - 01/04/15 08:34 AM

So every Saturday my friends over at United Mortgage send out an e-mail telling us the current interest rates.  Useful information indeed, but only if you stop and think about what the numbers mean.  This weeks 30 year FHA rate is 3.375%.  Historically these are very low rates and may or may not stay down here.  We do not know where the rates are going, but we do know there is very little room for further decline.
Plugging that number into my loan calculator I see that a $150,000 house would have a monthly payment of $663.  If the rate … (0 comments)

So you have been looking through Trulia and Zillow and found a home that you like.  Why not call the listing agent and go look at the house.  The listing agent smiles at you and says:  "So do you like the house.  I would be glad to write up the paperwork and get you into the house."  Easy as pie right?
