Brougham Cottage, Staten Island New York
Is in the Eltingville, Annadale section on the South Shore.
Believed to have been built around 1720, it is one of the oldest building still standing on the land it was built on. It is being restored by the city parks department. Hopefully it will be available for viewing around 2019 or 2020. It is in stark difference to the homes in the area because many were built in the 1950's to the 1960's when the Verrazano-Narrows bridge was built. Most folks don't even know it's there.

Secret places of Eltingville Staten Island, N.Y.
Maybe I should not post this. Some would say more people will come to this area and change it. I say let them come and enjoy the beauty of the land. When you see the picture I took this morning, from my iphone, you will not believe this is New York City, the Big Apple.
This is the end of the street, at waters edge. Looking out to Raritan Bay, in the distance you can see Sandy Hook. (far right you can just about see it), and on the left is Crooks Point where … (1 comments)
