As was reported today Sunday April 7, 2019 in my local print newspaper The Staten Island Advance by an Associated Press reporter Verena Dobnik.
I do wish she would research her information better. This is just sloppy journalism.
I have a very good article you may want to read, see link below, that details the pratice of venerating a Saints remains.

Let's say you are adding an extension on to your home. Would you want the owner of the construction company to be present whenever work is preformed? Do you care if only the foreman is present to make sure the work you wanted was done properly?
When I had an extension added to my house, the company I chose to do the job was the one who told me, "I work with my crew every day, I'm always on the job and I only take one job at a time".

Actually, a beautiful day in Staten Island, as it is most every day here. Temps will hover around the mid thirties, and any snow accumulation will only be about an inch or so. Number 1 reason to go "FSBO" I believe is that you can "SAVE" the commission. Great if you can do it. However, according to the National Association Of Realtors (NAR) only about 15% succeed. How many of the 15% FSBO's do you think actually "SAVED" the commission? Certainly not all. Let's be generous here and say one third of For Sale By Owner. So, only about 5% of FSBO'S really saved the agency fee. Why is that? Let's use some logic.

Well, first, we are really a bedroom community for Manhattan. But we have over 450,000 people here. That equals or better than the whole state of Alaska.
