Are you thinking of moving to Staten Island, N.Y.?
Do you work in Manhattan but live in New Jersey, Brooklyn or Long Island and can't afford to buy a house because of high prices and high property taxes? You may want to consider Staten Island.
While nothing is cheap here, when I talk to folks who live elsewhere I'm surprised to learn of their high home values, property taxes and water/sewer fees. Not to forget the cost of commuting to Manhattan.

Maybe I should not post this. Some would say more people will come to this area and change it. I say let them come and enjoy the beauty of the land. When you see the picture I took this morning, from my iphone, you will not believe this is New York City, the Big Apple.

Be different. It's not always better, but better IS different. Recently I bought a light that goes on at dusk and goes off 5 hours later. Then the next evening, it goes back on. It's called the listing light. You can find out more about it by goggle search. use "the listing light" Great for your yard sign.

It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. It all depends on which side of the coin you look at. If you look at a coin, you know you have three sides. Right? An obverse, reverse, and an edge. Today's financial market is similar. If you lost money, you are on one side, if you made money, you are on another side, and if you're just holding steady, I guess you could say you're on the edge. Same for Real Estate.
