As you will see in the charts below, the 2011 average sales price for homes in Marin County is hovering around where it was in 2003-2004, or $813,155. The median sales price for the year was substantially lower at $630,000. The number of homes selling is up for the third consecutive year at 2612 for 2011 (2455 in 2010, 2257 in 2009 and 2153 in 2008).
