Thank you to everyone who attended this years Kelly Land. The event has a huge success, with over 1200 families and children visiting this year! The Kelly Group and the whole Peanuts cast gave out sweets, hot chocolate and gifts. Two decorated Christmas trees, complete with wrapped presents, was donated to two special families this year. From seeing so many familiar faces and new visitors as well, I am reminded just how much I am thankful for! I am thankful for this wonderful, caring community that comes together each year. kelly land: Kelly Land - Night 1 - Peanuts!

It's official, the Peanuts at Kelly Land was a success! We still have night two kicking off at 6:30pm today with the whole Peanuts gang. In the meantime, here's a recap of last nights mayhem, madness and Christmas cheer! We had approximately 850 children visit last night with families lined up for three blocks to get in! Participants were able to fill stockings with goodies, write letters to Santa, play in the snow, toss snowballs, meet Santa and the Peanuts gang, take trolley rides, and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies! Children also received wrapped age appropriate presents.

Look who stopped by the office to help decorate a tree today! We are so excited for Kelly Land & it's almost here! We can't wait to see you December 9th & 10th from 6:30-7:30pm. Despite the wind and having to move the entire event indoors, night two of Frozen at Kelly Land was just as big of a hit as night one!
Approximately 3,000 visitors came to Kelly Land over the course of both nights, with over 700 children receiving free gifts, candy, Frozen themed snow cones, and hot chocolate.
Other events included letters to Santa, trolley rides, and a big pile of snow!

The first night of Frozen at Kelly Land is over! With approximately 1,000 visitors, it’s been the biggest night of Kelly Land since I started hosting the event. The line for entry went all the way around the block!
With night two of Frozen at Kelly Land starting at 6:30pm today, I don’t want to give too much away about the games, music, food, and presents that we’re giving out as I’m hoping to keep it a surprise for tonight’s crowd!

kelly land: Giving Back to the Community – Kelly Land Style

In the 14 plus years that I have been an agent in Newberg, OR, I have always held my annual Christmas event, Kelly Land. It takes months to organize, with extensive decorating, purchase of toys and prizes, wrapping of gifts, organization of DJs, photographers, costumes, food, and the list goes on. It takes a lot, a lot of work!
So why do I do Kelly Land? Of course because I absolutely love Christmas! To me, it is the happiest, most exciting time of year. And I feel it is my responsibility to share that enthusiasm and happiness by giving back … (2 comments)
