Total Single Family Homes were up 35.88% over Janaury of 2010. There were 178 homes that closed in January 2011 compared to 131 in January of 2010 in Okaloosa County. Condos and Townhomes were up 41.38% over January of 2010. There were 82 condos and townhomes that closed in the month of January compared to 58 in January of 2010. Residential Lots Lots were up 121% over January of 2010. There were 93 lots that closed compared to only 42 in January of 2010. There is a steady increase in buyer traffic being seen. No not lightning as in a storm of some type, but just plain accurate and fast. The F-35 is planned to come to Eglin AFB and replace the current 33rd Fihter Wing's 1900 personanel and their families providing the area with a net gain of 740 citizens. I am in favor of this move by our Defense Support Initiative to bring our military F-35 Aircrafts to Eglin AFB. First plane is scheduled to arrive by 2010.
