Yes things have softened up but WE ARE STILL SELLIN' Most of my sales this year have been from listings. I love listings and am very successful at getting homes sold under ANY conditions. Many agents do not know how to work a listing in a soft market and will not sell. I am able to sell in this market. If you are an agent and cannot get your listings sold, refer them to me. Maryland still has colorful flowers in bloom. Even after the light frost of the past few mornings I still found this beauty in my garden this morning.
I don't know what this plant is called but in this season of things dying off and fading this one is growing brighter, stronger and more colorful. This is an inspiration to me to be brighter, stronger and more colorful in this decling real estate season. SEARCH HARFORD COUNTY MARYLAND REAL ESTATE

real estate: Life Expectancy of Household Appliances and Components
- 10/26/08 08:00 AM
What is the life expectancy of the components of your home? Many homeowners have no idea of the life expectancy of most major components of their homes. This chart will help you to budget for replacements. As you can see from the chart many items are prone to replacement around 10 years of age and then around 15. So, if you are buying a home in that age range you would do well to put away some money every month into an account to be used for these repairs as they come necessary. real estate: October November Marketing Ideas

This is a great time of year full of many opportunities to get your name in front of past clients and potential new ones. Here are some of the things I have done: Mums: Fall is a transition time and a great time to plant some mums to brighten up the flower bed. Take your clients a mum with a tag that says "don't be mum, call me with your referrals"
Pumpkins: Who doesn't love a pumpkin. You can take a small one to each of your clients with your card attached.

real estate: Washington Post reporter calls from my AR blog....
- 10/22/08 10:29 AM
I am fairly new to AR so I was pleasantly surprised when a reporter with the Washington Post called me today as she was doing a piece on real estate and Halloween. She had seen my blog....Halloween Marketing Ideas. I read many blogs about content and length of post and I must say I disagree that longer is better. This post was very short and sweet and yet it accomplished getting my phone to ring. So, if you happen to read the Washington Post and see my name mentioned it was because of my two line blog.

real estate: Brisk Fall morning in Maryland
- 10/18/08 02:33 AM
Brrrrr...it's a brisk Fall morning in Maryland. The air is clean, clear and chilly. What's a real estate agent to do today? I worked so hard this week I am vowed to work form home today. I have 40 pages of relo docs to read, a contract to negotiate, two mailings to complete and of course blogs to read and write. So, today I will spend on my sun porch in my robe with my warm laptop to keep my cozy.
Enjoy your day...
