I am continueing my blog with addditional information to help the home buyer in Sunriver, Oregon. We are a resort community with a very strong vacation rental program. Because many of the homes are vacation rentals and 2nd homes they have not been cared for or "updated" like a primary residence. I am developing a series of blogs for the buyer to help answer some of the immediate questions regarding remodeling. What do I have to do if I want to add a (hot tub, deck, garage/carport, 4th bedroom, asphalt driveway etc) to this property? Spend the money on extras such as good bikes, nice hot tub and other things that may appeal to people on vacation i.e. big screen TV's, pool table, ping pong table. We all know Central Oregon is associated with skiing, fishing, hiking and various other outdoor activities. Many people may not be aware that Central Oregon is a great place to play tennis. With the summer approaching the tennis nets are being put up all over Sunriver ~ Yippie. After spending the winter playing indoors at Sage Springs and the Bend Athletic Club, I can't wait to play outside.
