colorado springs public golf courses: Colorado Springs Public Golf Course
- 06/09/11 02:38 AM
Patty Jewett golf course has been open for play continuously since 1898, making it one of the oldest courses in the United States; the third oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi to be exact. The entrance sets the elegant mood, complete with a wonderful wrought-iron gate and a drive down a narrow road lined with a canopy of 100-year old trees. Patty Jewett’s is a 27-hole course (18 is par 72, with a seperate 9 hole course) each with amazing views of Pikes Peak. Before heading out to the links, warm up at Patty’s driving range and putting green.
