Friends of the Peak is a non-profit organization committed to maintaning and preserving Colorado Springs' Pikes Peak, it's trails, and recreational opportunities. The organization schedules designated projects weekly on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings throughout the summer.  There is work to be done on a regular basis to keep the trails in good shape and make repairs as needed.  Information about location, hours, and what to bring can be found on their website.
