One of my favorite and I think most valuable calls that I get is the one that starts with we are thinking about doing some remodel/updating and wanted to see if you can come by and give us input on what to do vs not do.
There are plenty of sources out there with input on what you generically get a better return on than others. However, it is often very dependent on the specific property.
