How is your business plan coming? Do you have one? I did. Ken's 6 month business plan. It was simple, yet it kept me on track. Focused. I completed "the plan" about a month ago. I have yet to put a new one together... I am still working hard. Open houses. Delivering newsletters. Blogging. Showings. Listings... Yet I don't feel quite as confident because I am no longer "on plan". Hopefully succesful, but who really knows? So how is your business plan coming? Do you have one? If you don't, why don't you try making a ONE MONTH PLAN... Keep it real simple. … (6 comments)

I wrote down and posted my 6 month business plan last August. My plan revolved around delivering my newsletters to 8 different neighborhoods. My "farm" areas. I promised to do it rain or shine... In life, as in goal setting, I believe some flexibility is vital. During the cold and snowy January we had here in Naperville, I fell behind my schedule... Yet I was still determined to finish. And last Friday, I did.... I am proud of that. Ken A Realtor you can trust. -my 4134th newsletter delivered. The final one.

newsletters: THE LAKEWOOD CROSSING VIEW, NAPERVILLE ILLINOIS

Divide and conquer. After delivering 362 of my newsletters in one day last week, I thought it better to break up the work a little. I decided to deliver 100 per day in my next subdivison, Lakewood Crossing here in Naperville Illinois. Tonight was the first night out. I felt much better today. It was a nice early autumn evening. Warm for late September. Probably high 70's. The sky was beautiful. Orange and purple. Thunderstorms way in the distance. A great evening to be working.
