We all know that Social Media is a really important aspect of today's society. But it's important to know and understand how to best utilize all aspects of social media for your advantage.
That brings me to the importance of Blogging and especially Blogging with Active Rain. Yes ... you can use many avenues to publish your Blog, but Active Rain is without a doubt the best way to Blog as a Real Estate Agent because how it's directly linked to obtaining "Google Juice". There's a new feature they've put into place that helps to reduce the amount of SPAM that you receive. It's called "CAPTCHA"! And, instead of having to type in those annoying squigly words that are sometimes very difficult to read even when you're NOT a computer! Ha!! As always, Debbie has provided a very INFORMATIVE Article about the "in's and out's" of "Re-Blogging". She shares insights on how to re-Blog as well as answers questions about why some Blogs aren't or can't be "re-Blogged". The importance of Social Media has immensly grown in recent years with Facbook and Twitter being Top Dogs and now Pinterest being in 3rd place. But, what many fail to realize is that a "BLOG" is forever! A good article will continue to be read every week by lots of folks. It is like having marketing on auto pilot. "Blogging" is like the "Residual Income" to Social Media much like residual income is to Multi-Level Marketing. It is leveraging the power of doing it once and having it pay you back over and over and over again! Yes, blogging pays! Even when you're not blogging, your old blog posts are still generating new consumer contacts and agent referrals. Go to the gym or walk the mall? This is my first decision most mornings, these days, and walking Annapolis Mall usually wins.
