The BMX World Championships are coming to the U.S. for the first time in over fifteen years. Next week, over 3,300 riders from 40+ countries are expected to come to Rock Hill to the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track. The track in Rock Hill is one of just a few Olympic caliber BMX SX tracks in the US. The entire course was modeled after the 2008 Beijing Olympic track, designed for speed with a 35-foot initial elite jump, asphalt turns for acceleration, and a massive final jump over the amateur track.
