Hello Rainers! Bob and I are headed to San Francisco next week. You know me, I'll seize any opportunity to have an AR MeetUp so I'm calling all Bay Area Rainers and visitors in town for Inman.
Just a little informal get together to hang out with other Rainers and share a few laughs. Swing on by and say hi.

Break out the flip-flops and sunscreen, it's MeetUp time! Are you ready to hang out with some awesome people again? Maybe you're new to AR but want to get out from behind the computer and relax with some Rainers who know good business. The time is almost here!
You might be asking what a MeetUp is. Well, it's an informal get together for members of ActiveRain to hang out and talk business, sports, relationships or whatever floats your boat. Everyone is on their own for drinks/food; the host is only responsible for choosing a place, date and time.

ar meetups: Springtime MeetUp Success - 2014

We broke the MeetUp record!! The previous record was 48 MeetUps and this last round brought in over 50 with almost 300 Rainers in attendance! I cannot express how much this means to me. The official AR MeetUps began in Fall of 2011 and obviously they are still GOING STRONG!!

There may be snow outside your window as you read this, but I wanted to give plenty of time for hosts to get their MeetUp scheduled.
Meeting your virtual friends and colleagues in person usually begins with a smile and embrace. I've seen it happen a hundred times before and this round should be no different. Whether business, hobbies or fun is discussed it doesn't matter, the point is to get out from behind the computer and spend some informal, quality time with other Rainers.

Hot Cider and Buttered Rums are calling your name! We live in a world of amazing Rainers who have found the time to set up a MeetUp in their area. They understand the importance and warm fuzzies that come from being in the same room with other ActiveRain members.
I am still elated from our MeetUp last week in San Francisco. So many AR Members were in town for NAR and we just had to get together in person. The room was full of love, hugs and laughs. Such an amazing, lucky feeling.

ar meetups: A Rainy Seattle Spring MeetUp

This morning I rose a bit earlier than usual to head out and meet some friendly faces. Charles Buell and René Fabre were kind enough to host the Seattle breakfast MeetUp. We feasted over eggs, coffee and juice while discussing everything AR and beyond.
Charles was there first getting our tables organized and René was stuck in traffic. If you think of a typical Seattle day, today fits right in. Rainy and gray with puddles covering the streets. Ahhh Seattle...gotta love it.

What a hit! We had over 30 MeetUps around the country and they were full of smiles and cheer.
Thank you to all the hosts that took the time to put together a hot spot for all to join in on the fun. And thank you to all the participants that trudged through the rain, snow and sunshine to get to a MeetUp and partake in this one of a kind community love.

ar meetups: Seattle MeetUp Was a Hit Once Again

This morning we had the Seattle MeetUp with the regular crew. We hit up the 14 Carrot Cafe once again and got our day started right; breakfast, cups of java and good people.
A gray Seattle day was turned into a bright one with the warm 'Rainers gathered around the table. Many MeetUp groupies as I like to call them were in attendance even with the 8am roll call. Charlie sure likes to get up early!
I look forward to these quarterly MeetUps, each time they are a different experience and I always feel better for having attended.

Charlie and Rene were pretty fly to set up the Seattle MeetUp. 14 'Rainers showed up for an early breakfast at the 14 Carrot Cafe. Greeted with smiles, hugs and introductions to the new faces was so cool.

Everyone who's experienced getting together with other 'Rainers can attest to the fun.
