Residents of Strathmore and throughout Wheatland County have a new member of their fire department. The SRFD took delivery of their new fire truck, Tender 2 came into service on May 29th right here in Strathmore. This means that many of us in the Strathmore area have a new weapon to fire grass fires and other types of blazes that hit Wheatland County. The new truck also comes with four additional firefighters and can hold up to 6. This allows for additional forces to combat fires and can keep resources available to fight other fires.
