There are several reasons that a seller may be willing to continue to show their home after an offer is accepted.

When I had represented the seller on this home less than 4 years ago, the would be buyer lamented what it would take to "fix" the driveway. Going to the time and trouble to have estimates submitted to the then seller for the "repair" that was necessary to buy the house.
