Sometimes, You Need to Look Past the Photos

This week, I had the pleasure of working with a young couple that is relocating to Cedar Rapids after 4 years in Mexico.  When we started talking over a month ago, I created a search for them and they would feel defeated when all of their "favorites" were selling so quickly in our market.  By the time that it was the week of their arrival, they only had about 10 left to see on their list.

relocating to cedar rapids: I Can Sure Pick 'Em! - 05/12/11 02:43 PM
This week I went out with one of my transferees to take a look at a few homes.  This is our first trip out to see homes and he wanted to show me his likes and dislikes so that when his wife comes at the end of the month to hopefully make a decision, I will have a better idea of options that they would be most likely want to purchase.

Whether you are relocating from another state or you are moving within the market area, there is always some adjustments to be made! My focus is on the well-being and safety of your family. A house is very important, but making the Cedar Rapids area your home takes a little more effort. My clients call me long after the closing for advice on a veternarian for their new puppy or the best daycares in the area. Meeting new people is always fun for me and I love my job! Call me if you would like to know what your home is worth in the current market or if you think that you might want to move up to another home somewhere else. We will miss you, but I will happy to get you on your way to your next adventure as quickly as possible!
