google: Important Update to Google Content Removal Policy - 01/25/17 09:14 AM
Important Update to Google Content Removal Policy It's more important than ever to monitor your online reputation!Google is updating its removal requests. Apparently if you want something removed from Google, it will be harder than ever.
"Attorneys specializing in Internet and defamation law are reporting that Google is increasingly denying removal requests that accompany a court order specifying the content is defamatory/libelous. This shift highlights a few things we've always stressed at BrandYourself about managing your online reputation: " Meaning that your best approach to defamatory/libelous content is to be ahead of the … (9 comments)

Presto - Chango for Google Indexing!
My post from yesterday, Optimize Your Website for Mobile Users, couldn't have come at a better time!
As I explained the importance of how your website should appear so it is visible to the end user, Google makes a huge announcement:
"The company is in the process of creating a new index for mobile devices, which will become the "primary" index for search, according to Google webmaster trends analyst Gary Illyes. This means searches from mobile devices will serve up the freshest results as Google will update its mobile index more frequently." Why Google is retooling search to put … (8 comments)
