In this current low inventory market,I thought I'd throw out some helpful hints in the event a homeowner has the thoughts of marketing their home for sale. -Anything that can be done (that doesn't cost a lot) to enhance the homes appearance, definitely consider doing/ie: fresh paint, carpet clean, small repairs, etc -declutter/ less is more in most situations -maintain outside as to have the best possible curb appeal, as sometimes buyers will drive by prior to setting up a viewing -if home has a fireplace and possible, light it when showing occurs- adversely, if its hot out have AC cranked- it just provides (0 comments)

Over the past 13 yrs in my Profession, I have come across comments, questions on being a Realtor that I thought I would share/ Comment- you must have a lot of patience Question- what are your hours of working? Comment-it's 10PM and you are answering your phone? Question- how does one become a Realtor? Comment-You sound tired Question- how many homes have you sold in the last 6 months? Comment-Thank you for all you did to make this happen Question- How long will this short sale take? Comment-I see your signs(company) everywhere Question- Can we see this property of interest on (2 comments)

Home sellers do everything they can to make their house look as beautiful as possible, yet appealing to home buyers’ other senses can be just as important — especially when it comes to the sense of smell. While you may not think your home has a smell to it, freshening the air and filling the home with sweet aromas can do wonders in making a favorable impression. Just ran into a situation with a new Client- she is a VA buyer, which needs a pretty “clean” house in order to pass the appraisal process. My experience as a 13 yr “veteran” in real estate, told me that the home she chose to put an offer in on, wasn’t a VA friendly home, condition wise. Just the same, she loved the home, and wanted to pursue the offer. I called the other agent and he indicated that the Seller was in the position and mindset that he would fix or alter anything that came up at the time of (3 comments)

In this competitive world of Real Estate Agents, the feeling of accomplishment over being the ONE chosen by Mr & Mrs Seller to List their home and proceed to mkt, and eventually sell their personally attached asset, certainly is rewarding! With so many Realtors to choose from in any given area, there is unarguably many choices for the homeowner. I have found in my almost 13 yrs in this biz that the old Golden Rule is the most valuable attribute, I live to. Be honest & treat people as u would want to be treated. Well , we are in that time of yr again, already! Hustling, bustling as many Christmas song lyrics might say. The frequent question that is proposed is that of how is the mkt of selling a home within the holiday season? I wouldn’t be honest with myself or whom I was conveying this info to, if I said it was the same as any other time of the yr. It does certainly slow down, but on the other hand, the Buyers out there during this time are serious with their intentions. Homes, most times, present themselves in their very best with (5 comments)
