kevin grolig: Should a Spare Room be an Office, Guest Bedroom, or Both? - 02/06/14 08:14 AM

If you are a homeowner with an office or guest bedroom, you have a bonus for homebuyers in the MoCo market. But how can you stage this room for impact? It’s quite simple. Make your spare room a “Two-in-One” room. Set the stage with multiple purposes in your spare room which can be adjusted to a homebuyer’s needs.
As with all your rooms, the first task is to clean. Whether it is an office, guest room, or perhaps a storage room doesn’t matter.  Whatever the current use, remove all possible paperwork, personal files, stored holiday decorations, and curio collections. … (1 comments)

You have been working hard to prepare your MoCo home for the market. You review all you have done to stage your home so far. Then you look down the hallway toward the one room you have been avoiding. Those who are parents know just what I am referring to - the kid’s bedroom. Part fantasy play-land, part sports arena, and part study hall, the average kid’s room is a mess that never seems to get cleaned up. So how do you set the stage for your kid’s room?
A good, detailed cleanup of your child’s bedroom is the first step. … (0 comments)

One of the first rooms potential buyers will see when viewing your MoCohome is the living room. You want to make a great first impression, but where do you begin? I have listed a few areas to get you on your way to staging your main living space.
Do you have Wood floors? Repair damaged areas; you need not replace the whole floor. kevin grolig: Setting the stage in your MoCo Home Kitchen - 11/14/13 12:18 PM
I have been sharing some tips for staging your MoCo home to sell. Whether you are a gourmet cook or not, the kitchen is the most important room in your home when it comes to staging. Think about simplicity and cleanliness and you will be well on your way to a perfectly staged home.
First and foremost is to clean and de-clutter your kitchen. Clean the inside of your refrigerator, removing any food spills. Take off all magnets, pictures and notes from your refrigerator; display your home, not your family. Place all counter-top appliances, like toasters or coffee pots, in … (0 comments)

This rapid growth has brought an equally rapid response specifically within Montgomery County, with the greatest number of charging stations having been added in MoCo compared to the rest of the state.
Why such the surge in growth in our area? MoCo has been able to sustain higher economic growth compared to other counties in the state. This in … (2 comments)
