sheridan: Sheridan, Oregon houses qualify for USDA Rural Development Loans - 01/08/09 05:13 AM
The USDA Rural Development Loans are geared towards helping lower income people buy houses in rural communities.  The only town that doesn't qualify for this loan in Yamhill County is McMinnville.

sheridan: The Art of Trees - 12/12/08 03:10 PM
This is a tree in a field near my home, it's located in Bellevue on Highway 18 between McMinnville and Sheridan.  The field is kiddy corner from the Lawrence Gallery, The Fresh Palate Cafe and the Bellevue Market and Oregon Wine Tasting Room.  A newcomer to the corner is Wine Country Glassworks, which I plan to visit soon.
This tree is very cool- it's actually two trees that grew side by side and work together to make one tree.  I found the image to be so compelling, I turned it into a piece of art.  I call it The Marriage Tree.  My medium … (4 comments)

I hurried home the other night so I could grab my camera and run to the back of the property!  It just kept getting better and better and it looks like another planet when you invert it!
